Orion

The Mediterranean sky

In Greek mythology, Orion was a gigantic hunter, strong and proud, capable of moving fearlessly through forests and wild animals. His confidence, however, led him to challenge the limits imposed by the gods.
According to the myth, he was punished by the sending of a scorpion that struck him fatally. Zeus, impressed by his greatness, decided not to let him disappear: he raised him into the sky, transforming him into a constellation, while the scorpion was placed on the opposite side, so that the two could never meet.
Even today, Orion dominates the winter skies of the Mediterranean, recognizable to anyone who looks up on clear nights. For centuries, it has been a reference point for sailors and travelers, a constant presence along the routes between the coasts of Southern Europe.
Orion is the sky of what remains, even when everything changes.
Sleeping here means letting yourself be guided by an ancient presence, under the same sky that has accompanied those who cross the Mediterranean for millennia.
